Happy Monday. Here's to a great week ahead.

Let's get started...

Dr. Pelè and Seth Godin re: Creativity and More
I recently discovered the The Profitable Happiness™ Podcast, hosted by Dr. Pelè. It's now one of my favorites. Last month, he hosted Seth Godin. What a conversation. I've watched it twice and taken piles of notes. Forty-two minutes VERY well spent.

Recommended Reading: Tribe of Mentors

The Tim Ferriss Show is the #1 business podcast on all of Apple Podcasts. Here's how he describes it: "I deconstruct world-class performers from eclectic areas (investing, sports, business, art, etc.) to extract the tactics, tools, and routines you can use. This includes favorite books, morning routines, exercise habits, time-management tricks, and much more."

Tribe of Mentors does much the same -- in book form. Ferriss interviews 100+ top-performers and asks them how they do it...

Each chapter is in Q&A format so you get everything in the words of these top performers.

This isn't one of those books you read in one sitting. This is one you crack open from time to time if you want a little guidance and inspiration.

Here's Tim describing the book...

Recommended Viewing: The English Game

I admit it. I loved Downton Abbey.

The English Game is a short series on Netflix (just 6 episodes) by the guy who created Downtown Abbey, Julian Fellowes.

It's the story of English football (or as we Americans call it "soccer") and how it evolved from a amateur sport for the upper class to a professional enterprise played by anyone with enough talent.

Don't worry if you're not into sports. It's really a human drama about friendship, loyalty, family, and class struggle.

Here's the trailer.

I'm Listening To (Gulp!)... Taylor Swift

Like gazillions of other young, American woman, my 23-year-old daughter, Maddie, grew up listening to Taylor Swift.

I never got into it...

...until I heard her new album, Evermore.

One beautiful song after another. Fantastic storytelling.

Here's my favorite song from the album, Champagne Problems...

Words...

Speaking of Seth Godin...

Here's something he said about creativity:

"We've...been brainwashed into believing that creativity is a gift, something mysterious that the muse hands to a few select people. We’re not to look at it too closely or it might disappear. Nonsense. Creative is a choice."

Amen, Seth.

Here's to choosing creativity.
